If you'd seen the enthusiasm around the room at CeBIT's eGovernment seminar when Pia Waugh spoke you might have a bit more optimism :) I think that the steamroller is moving through Government even as we speak. Sure, it's mostly happening from the ground up - but I believe that there is no stopping it now.

Unfortunately - both from the point of view of interesting work for us and for the benefit of organisations we are aware of - the roadblock mentality is going to hurt these organisations as they perch firmly on the far right end of the adoption curve.

This is real Cubicle Commando stuff.  Although I think the battle with public sector organisations is far tougher than with private sector.</description>
