Call Centre Flaws as Reality TV Analogue

Consumerist.com wants you to record your customer service calls and send them in. Cool :)

As one given to the odd rant about customer service, I like the idea of people assessing service providers on their level of perceived user experience.

It is an old but true saying that both ends of a customer service call think that the other is an idiot. We’ll see what Consumerist’s contest turns up. I am not sure what the law is here in Australia (where most of our customer service calls are to overseas call centres) so I may not do this myself before checking out the implications, but it will be interesting to hear about some of the best (and the worst) client experiences.
