Smart Design: Melbourne’s CH2 Building

I’m watching a program on Australian ABC’s Catalyst program on the Council House 2 (CH2) building in Melbourne(transcript). Mick Pearce (CH2’s designer/architect) looked at how termite mounds work - an example is evaporative cooling via sewer water (termites use wet mud). Cool :)

And I note that next week’s show (April 26, 2007) is looking at Why We Buy, the Science of Shopping (hopefully they are looking at the book of the same name, a marketing classic).
