K2 Conflict with Google Maps on WordPress

I’ve been working on getting Google Maps happening here. I tried a few different things before giving up. Yesterday, I came across a working solution on Blogan.net. It recommends using Avi Alkalay’s Google Maps plugin and making some changes to the K2 styles.css file. It is the best solution I’ve seen so far (the recommended alternative is to remove K2, which is not a desirable option).

It works. There is an example map below of Easter Island. If you can see it (or not), please feel free to leave a comment with your browser type.

Works for me - Firefox 2.0.0.2 on Windows XP, Firefox 2.0.0.3 on OS X.

    Go figure.

    Steve,

I am left to think that I have a wierd setup for FireFox - Matt thinks it might be something to do with JRE version - investigations continue :)
    Cheers, Andrew
